AN INTEGRATED APPROACH FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY RESOURCE AND PLANT LOCATION SELECTION

نویسندگان

چکیده

Renewable energy resources ranking, and power plant location selection are multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems. These problems can be solved as two-phase tasks separately sequentially or, in a unified form, single-step task. In this paper, we studying the efficiency applicability of approach based on fuzzy Z-information, TOPSIS technique. Alternatives for generated renewables available country potential geographical locations these resources. Considering importance weights MCDM multiplicity approaches to criteria weighting, subjective, objective, AHP-based, combination subjective objective used decision matrix weighting. Comparative analysis solutions, various weights, allows making reliable solution. The results study problem solution confirm combined approach. advantage single step is that approach, addition main task, provides decision-maker additional information about preferable next best renewable option well. Keywords: selection, decision, weights. JEL Classifications: D81, P48, Q35, Q42 DOI: https://doi.org/10.32479/ijeep.10880

An integrated AHP-VIKOR methodology for plant location selection

Plant location selection invariably has a significant impact on the performance of many companies or manufacturing systems. In this paper, a novel methodology is structured to solve this problem. The two decision making methods, namely AHP and VIKOR, are integrated in order to make the best use of information available, either implicitly or explicitly. In addition, the Delphi method is utilized...

Applying an integrated fuzzy gray MCDM approach: A case study on mineral processing plant site selection

The accurate selection of a processing plant site can result in decreasing total mining cost. This problem can be solved by multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods. This research introduces a new approach by integrating fuzzy AHP and gray MCDM methods to solve all decision-making problems. The approach is applied in the case of a copper mine area. The critical criteria are considered adja...

An Integrated Approach for Facility Location and Supply Vessel Planning with Time Windows

This paper presents a new model of two-echelon periodic supply vessel planning problem with time windows mix of facility location (PSVPTWMFL-2E) in an offshore oil and gas industry. The new mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) modelconsists ofa fleet composition problem and a location-routing problem (LRP). The aim of the model is to determine the size and type of large vessels in the fi...
